We block outbound traffic on Port 25 to non-SureWest servers in order
to minimize the amount of junk mail originating from surewest.net. As
a
result, you
may
receive
an error
message about "Port 25" when attempting to send e-mail. To
send e-mail, simply use smtp.surewest.net instead of the SMTP server
on your
computer.

This does not affect Web mail, private VPN connections,
dedicated Internet connections such as T-1, DS-3, EtherMAN, etc.,
or static IP customers. |
