The speed test measures the amount of data that is transferred from the Internet to your computer (download) and from your computer to the Internet (upload) within a set amount of time. In other words, it shows how fast data moves through your SureWest High Speed Internet connection and demonstrates the speeds that SureWest High Speed Internet delivers.

This speed test uses web based software to approximate the connection speed on the TCP networking layer. Results may vary due to routers and wireless home networks, operating system configuration, browser configuration, cpu speed, network card configuration, background applications, etc. To receive a true speed reading, please connect directly into your internet connection, bypassing any wireless routers. |
