SureWest On Demand provides access to over 1,700 hours of video titles, special events, concerts and free content. Ordering is simple and you can pause, fast-forward, rewind and stop the selection (just like using your DVD Player). In addition, you have the movie for 24 hours — with no returns and no late fees.

Video On Demand (VOD)

To access VOD press the Menu button on your remote control. Scroll to the VOD option and press OK.

Order VOD titles

To verify a VOD purchase, on your SureWest remote control, press the Menu button and select Vault. The Vault tab gives you access to rented VOD titles.

Play Trailer, Rent, and Cancel rental option menu

Some movie titles will include the trailer. Selecting the Trailer button and pressing the OK or Enter button will play the trailer. Selecting the Rental button will bring up the Rental Confirmation screen (you may be asked to enter a password). Selecting the Rent option will confirm your rental and the selection will play. Use the FF, Play, Rewind, Stop and Pause buttons to control your selection. Selecting the Cancel option will take you back to the VOD title listing. Under the Settings tab in the Preferences menu, you have an option of making VOD rentals private. Clicking the Make Rentals Private check box will make all VOD rentals and Pay-Per-View (PPV) purchases private to the specific user. Leaving it blank will show and share all titles across all users and set top boxes dependent on Parental Controls. You also have the ability to change this option by individual titles in the Rental Confirmation screen. You can check the “Share VOD” box to share it on all set top boxes and user accounts in the home, by leaving it blank the title will only be available on the set top box and user account where it was selected.
